GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR MSc/MFA/MA/MBA/EMBA/MPH/M.PHARM/M.PHIL/PhD
i. Masters’ Programmes
At the time of application, applicants should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognized Institution in the relevant field of study.
Preference will be given to applicants with a FIRST CLASS, SECOND CLASS (UPPER OR LOWER DIVISION)
ii. Ph.D Programmes
Candidates applying for Doctor of Philosophy degree must have a Master’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized Institution and shall submit evidence of adequate training and ability to undertake the proposed programme.
DURATION OF PROGRAMME
Unless otherwise stated,
Master’s Programmes (Full-Time) are of Two (2) AcademicYears and (Part-Time) Three (3) Academic Years duration.
Ph.D Programmes (Full-Time) are of Three (3) Academic Years and (PartTime) are of Four (4) Academic Years duration.
MODE OF APPLICATION
Postgraduate application for admission shall commence in February.
Step 1: The following documents should be scanned in Jpeg format / size A4 to be uploaded while completing the online form
i. Official Degree/HND/PGD/Masters certificate and Transcript
ii. Official High school result OR Transcripts (WAEC, SSCE, NECO, GCE, etc.)
iii. Certified copy of Birth Certificate
iv. Recent Passport-size photograph
v. Medical report or Clearance (optional)
vi. Application fee payment receipt of $350 (For direct Bank deposit or transfer option. Card payment options are available at the end of the application form).
Step 2: Complete the online application forms.
Step 3: Pay the application fee which is directly charged by the university.
Step 4: Track application status and get the result
Application for August / September 2018 session is also in progress. Deadline for the submission of application forms is now on Friday 26th April, 2019. All application are treated on first come first serve basis because of limited space for some courses.
- WAECL charges a minimum service fee of $150.
- You need to pay the application fee which is directly charged by the university, and WAECL is authorized to collect on their behalf.
